Summer Mail Forwarding
This information is about Mail Forwarding for Spring/Summer 2025:
Any mail and packages left on Campus after 5/19 will be subject to the GW MPS return policy and be returned to the sender. Mail and Package Services is not responsible for unclaimed items in the Mailroom after the close of the Semester.
If you have packages at MPS (or in transit to GW right now) and you are in need of these items you can go to any carrier (FedEx, UPS etc), create a shipping label online and email it to gwmailsvgwu [dot] edu (gwmailsv[at]gwu[dot]edu). MPS will re-label and ship your package for you.
USPS Letter Mail is not forwardable via USPS Change of Address due to the 20052 is a Unique zip code to GW. Any mail or subscriptions you receive at your GW address from a third party you will need to contact each sender individually to have your information changed at the end of each semester. Please remember to contact any subscription service to halt or redirect shipment to your new address. The mail and packages received during a semester you are not currently enrolled in will be returned to the sender.
In preparation for Fall 2025 please time your package arrival no more than 3 days in advance of your arrival on Campus. Space is limited. Please pick up packages upon Qtrak email alert and note the location pick up in the alert.
