Visitor Parking

Cars remaining in garages that are not open for 24 hours (University Student Center, Elliott School and MFA Garages) can retrieve their vehicle the next business day when the garage opens.
All self-service visitor garages accept all major credit cards for payment (no cash), Apple Pay and Google Wallet. All parking fees include DC's 18% parking tax.

Patients and visitors of the George Washington University Hospital and/or the Medical Faculty Associates may use this garage. If full, patients may park at other GW visitor parking locations.

The closest parking facility is the G Street Garage (2028 G Street, NW).
Mount Vernon Campus
Visitors and guests of the Mount Vernon campus should park in the Mount Vernon Campus Garage and not area residential streets.
In an effort to better utilize the available parking on the Mount Vernon Campus and support the neighboring community,Parking Services will now be providing the first three (3) hours of parking for free in the MVC parking garage for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Garage parking is still free on weekends (Sat 12am – Sun 11:59pm).
Please note that parking on Whitehaven Pkwy NW is reserved for St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church and Day School. Parking on the roads and fire lanes on campus is also prohibited.
