Mailing Addresses

To ensure timely and accurate delivery, please ask anyone sending you mail or packages to use your complete campus address and the 20052 ZIP Code for the Foggy Bottom campus and the 20007 ZIP Code for the Mount Vernon campus. When addressing mail and packages, do not forget to include the resident's full name and room number. Always use the complete mailing address. Mail and packages received with missing or incorrect name or address information will be subject to delivery delays.

When you receive notifications from your purchasing agents it will likely indicate “delivered” or “delivered to agent”. This notification does not necessarily mean that Mail Services has your package in our possession. When you receive a notification from MPS then your package is available for pickup.

We encourage students who are expecting a package that has not been received within 3 business days of expected delivery to email  [email protected] and include details such as tracking numbers, dates, approximate size of package, and/or pictures. This additional information will enable the team to track the package and match it to a student.

Perishable Policy

Perishable refrigerated packages should be picked up same day.  Due to refrigeration space and health concerns perishable refrigerated items such as Hello Fresh, Factor Meals, etc will be disposed of after 48 hours. 

Package Return Policy

Unclaimed Packages will be returned to the sender after 14 days.  You will receive 5 alert reminders prior to the return.

1st - Alert upon Package Arrival

2nd - 24 hours later

3rd - 48 hours later

4th - 3 days prior to return message advising of the pending return

5th - 2 days prior to return 

Package Inquiry

We encourage students who are expecting a package that has not been received within 3 business days of expected delivery to submit an inquiry by scanning  the QR code below to submit an inquiry and include details such as tracking numbers, dates, approximate size of package, and/or pictures. This additional information will enable the team to track the package and match it to a student.

Reimbursement Policy

We understand the importance of your shipments, and we are committed to resolving any issues promptly if a package is misplaced upon receipt. In the event of a misplaced package, we will reimburse you based on the established value of the item.
 
For Retail Packages Sent by Third-Party Vendors: The reimbursement will include both the purchase price and any shipping costs.

For Personal Shipments of New, Non-Retail Items: The reimbursement will be based on the declared value at the time of shipment, along with any shipping costs.

Please note that the default package value for USPS, FedEx, and UPS shipments is $100. If you believe your shipment is worth more than this amount, please ensure that the shipper declares the higher value at the time of shipping. In order to process reimbursements, we will require receipts for the item and shipping costs.
