Frequently Asked Questions 

What payment methods can I use?

All vending machines across GW’s campuses accept cash, credit or debit cards, and Apple Pay and Google Pay. Campus Cash or Dining Dollars on GWorld cards are not accepted. 

How can I get a refund from a Canteen or Coca-Cola vending machine? 

For Coca-Cola and Canteen refund requests, please contact their customer service receptionist line at 301-702-1267. It will take 3 to 5 business days.

For all other vendors, please reach out to vendingatgwu [dot] edu (vending[at]gwu[dot]edu). 

How does the Single-Use Plastics policy impact vending? 

As of Spring 2021, the university has adopted a Single-Use Plastics policy to eliminate single-use plastic on GW property to the greatest extent possible. Our vendors adhere to this policy unless there is no alternative.
